Scootering Around San Diego Bay

A few photos from my 16 mile Xootr Scooter exploration of San Diego bay. I started with a round trip around Shelter Island, then drove to Liberty Station.

My Xootr was the perfect way to get around San Diego bay. Small enough to fit in the trunk of my Miata and nimble enough to maneuver on both sidewalks and bike paths.

What is this?

Found a Geocache!

The Xootr Mg performed well on this adventure

From Liberty Station, I then scooted around Harbor Island to Seaport Village and back.

Amazing views of the San Diego skyline

The red thing around my neck is a bluetooth speaker for some scooting tunes!

Have you ever seen a 2 million dollar restroom? Now you have.

I wasn't quite done. My last scoot for the day included Balboa Park to the San Diego Zoo at which point the sun had set and it was time to head home. Over 16 miles today on my Xootr.

It was a good day. I really enjoyed the exploration and workout that I got from my travels. I was able to visit areas that I'd been to before and was able to savor the scooter riding that got me there.
