Scootering with Selah November 23, 2021

It was a couple days before Thanksgiving. November in San Diego. It was about 72 degrees, slight breeze and sunny.

I took my dog Selah to the Fiesta Island dog park. It's a HUGE off leash dog park, surrounded by water where dogs of all sizes can romp and run and play and splash and be dogs. My scooter of choice for that day was my Boardy. It's a GREAT choice for off road, hard pack, dirt riding.

Selah loves to run and run and run while I scoot next to her.

Later, after a LOT of dog-running, it was time to head to another location for more scootering. This time we were at the very busy location of Mission Beach to Pacific Beach. Running along side me would not be a good idea in such a congested area. Instead Selah enjoys taking a break and riding in HER backpack. She gets a chance to relax and just watch the world go by.

On the bike path / boardwalk, I was fortunate enough to run into Slomo, a legendary skater that frequents the path between Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. I was able to get a photo with him while scooting / skating. You should watch the video below to learn more about this cool, eccentric, down to earth, remarkable guy.

My turn around point was just north of the Pacific Beach pier. The sun was starting to set, but the warm temperatures and cool breezes persisted.

You never know what you'll run into while scootering!
